The rosemary herb looks like a pine-tree needles and it has a strong aroma and memorable flavour.
A fresh rosemary is usualyy deep green or sage green in colours, and when buying one, choose the fresh ones over the dried ones and avoid the ones with dark spot or yellow areas. Havent said that... shall we take a quick look at its health benefit?
Health Benefits
In the ancient times, rosemary is believed to help with memory. But modern research tells us that it is a good source of Vitamin A, B, C and E, it also contains minerals such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. Im sure we all know that the above vitamins and minerals are of great benefits to do the.body, will write on journal on each of them soon, but for once, I have only written on Vitamin A.
Studies also proved that rosemary is a good source of antioxidants (chemicals or behaviours that prevents cell damage) and flavonoids(works with antoxidants, also and also has anti-cancer activity) that stimulate the immune system, which increase circulation and improve digestion, especially for those of us who have slow digesting process or anything related.
It is a great source of fiber (helps to ease bowel movement) amongs many others, and lastly it is also said that the versatile plant contribute towards increasing blood flow to the head and brain, so perhaps ancient cultures were just right! Lol

Leaf and stem while cooking soups, meat, stews, poultry, green salads, vegetable dishes.
